Shipton & Heneage design luxury velvet slippers which are frequently worn as town shoes, too. Many are custom embroidered.
9Planet Universe is a trailblazer in the efforts of promoting the use of pre-organic cotton; a concept that assists in the elimination of hazardous pesticides and converting non-organic cotton farms to organic. This strategy, unlike other “green” contributions, provides the consumer with a solid vision of the aid they provide to the greater good.
What is pre-organic cotton, exactly? It’s the cotton grown at farms that are transitioning from conventional to organic farming methods. The conversion process usually takes 3 years — during which farmers have to deal with dramatically lowered harvests yet can’t get the price premium that certified organic cotton fetches. The financial crunch posed by those transitional years keeps many farmers from making the switch to organic — which is where 9Planet Universe steps in. The new fashion brand donates proceeds from their limited edition tee to the farmers looking to transition to organic.
The 9Planet Universe brand features limited edition tees for men, women and children. Later this year, 9Planet Universe will be launching a line of pre-organic cotton tees, long sleeve shirts, cashmere hoodies and more. For further information please visit, www.9planetuniverse.com/
Limited-Edition 3 CD Collector’s Item For The Price of One; Perfect For The Holiday Season
The product for Boot Camp Clik’s Triple Threat Box Set is in. A beautiful case, which features all three albums from Boot Camp Clik’s 2005, Triple Threat Summer, is bound to sell-out quickly.
The Triple Threat campaign was groundbreaking. It marked the beginning of Sean Price’s solo career with his debut release, “Monkey Barz.” Fans were introduced to the witty word play of Sean Price as he displayed ignorance at its finest.
The campaign was the first time that grammy-award winning producer 9th Wonder teamed up with Buckshot, for their project, “Chemistry.” The pairing of an MC & Producer from outside camps, which at the time was a novel idea, has since become a more popular trend.
The Triple Threat series also brought the return of Smif N Wessun, who reverted back to their original group name for their album, “Reloaded.”
Marc Ecko and the Ecko Unltd Mindlabs created album artwork for the projects, which were illustrated, comic-book-like covers. When combining all three album covers they created one unique image.
On November 24th, fans will have the opportunity to purhase a 3 CD box set containing The Triple Threat albums. This limited-edition item, although 3 CDs, will be available for the price of ONE CD. The Box Set Case has been strategically designed to provide a wrap-around feel of all three-album covers placed together to form one complete and consistent image.
Although summer’s long gone Brooklyn’s foremost outernational DJ Nickodemus is ready to heat up your soundsystem with Sun People Remixed. As the title suggests, this release brings together some of the world’s finest and most eclectic remixers for brand new interpretations of original tracks culled from Nickodemus’ critically acclaimed sophomore artist albumSun People.
Earthrise Soundsystem’s take on the title track is a tribal moment; packed with West African chants, while The Spy From Cairo brings a deep island reggae sound to “Just Move Feat Kwasi” Next, The Pimps of Joytime take Brooklyn & Bucharest on down to the Big Easy with that New Orleans funk groove and both Red Astaire and Tal M Klein lay down a thick layer of funky bass on their interpretations of “Sun Children” and “N’Dini,” respectively.
J Boogie brings a wonderfully warm electronic vibe to the soothing Middle Eastern vocal on ““Didibina” while Swedish producer HIRD (Fever Ray, Little Dragon) brings out a treasure trove of percussion on “La Lluvia.” The warehouse doors fly open with techno on Christian Prommer’s driving and beautiful remix of “The Love Feeling;” a proper warm up for Kush Arora’s bone rattling 2 step crusher on “2 Sips & Magic.” A comedown is necessary after that scorcher and Adham Shaikh offers the perfect R&R through his downtempo take on “WEriseWEfallWerise” Day turns to evening and the sun sets on this CD with Pablo Sanchez’s smooth Hip-Hop flavored take on “Sun Children” and a gorgeous house remix of “The Love Feeling” from SABO feat new vocals from Dario Boente.
Conceptually, Sun People was built with songs made for people who love the sun, sunshine and brighter days to come. Appropriate, of course, as Nickodemus has made his mark soundtracking NYC summers with his massively popular Turntables On The Hudson live events (More than just 4/4 beats and a night out, Nickodemus is known for adding something a bit more musical and spiritual to the mix at his parties). The original versions were inspired by various people Nickodemus met and places he’s been, along with his collective feelings of optimism. It’s these positive sonic vibes from all over the globe that Nickodemus matches with collaborators hailing from destinations including Guinea, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Romania, India, Turkey, United Kingdom and New York City. These are the Sun People.
“Sun People Remixed” is released Digitally on December 16, 2009 and on CD January 19. 2010 through ESL Music

NINTENDO BRINGS MULTIPLAYER EXCITEMENT TO THE MUSHROOM KINGDOM WITH NEW SUPER MARIO BROS. Wii
Mario’s Newest Adventure Offers Simultaneous Four-Player Mode, In-Game Guides
From fans who grew up playing the NES™ console to gamers with a passion for the Wii™ console, generations of Canadians have enjoyed the imaginative fun of Nintendo’s Super Mario Bros.™ video game series. Now the launch of New Super Mario Bros. Wii heralds the first time in the history of the series that up to four players can compete at the same time, either cooperatively or competitively.
Packed with beloved characters and remarkable new features, New Super Mario Bros. Wii takes the classic side-scrolling adventure of the Super Mario Bros. series and gives it a manic multiplayer boost. Featuring free-form multiplayer action, players can save their companions from danger or literally toss them right into it. While controlling Mario™, Luigi™ or one of two playable Toad™ characters, players can jump in and join a friend’s Story Mode game at the start of any level. The game also features two dedicated multiplayer modes, Coin Battle mode and Free For All mode, that let players easily select their favourite stages and compete across a variety of objectives. Each copy of New Super Mario Bros. Wii comes in a red case with a foil-stamped cover.
Among the new features in New Super Mario Bros. Wii is Mario’s ability to transform into Penguin Mario, which allows him to toss snowballs and slide on his belly at breakneck speed. Players also can hop onto a Yoshi™ character and use his tongue to eat enemies, items and fireballs. The game also makes use of the Wii console’s unique motion controls, allowing players to tilt the Wii Remote™ controller to control seesaw platforms or shake it to send Mario skyward in his new Propeller Suit.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii introduces a new feature called Super Guide that offers players optional game-play tips if they are having trouble getting past particular parts of the game. Super Guide lets players watch as a computer-controlled Luigi character makes his way through any stage that the player finds difficult. At any time in the video, the player can take control of Luigi and complete the stage at his or her own pace.
