The wait is almost over as Ottawa based, award winning Jazz artist Kellylee Evans prepares to release her sophomore album, The Good Girl on February 23, 2010 and we are currently working to secure features in select media.Combining a mix of alternative soul with pop throughout, The Good Girl was written and produced by Evans with the help of engineer and co-producer Steve Foley and her touring band. The album reflects on a personal journey for Evans, with songs like “Questioning My Path”, which is about searching for one’s identity and “Tonight” about not wanting to fall in love with someone. The first single off the release, “Good Girl”, is an upbeat groove that sums up the entire album vibe all in one song with it’s lyrical honesty and merging of musical styles.
