Synopsis: From Executive Producers Bruce Willis and Queen Latifah, The Hip Hop Project is the compelling story o Kazi, a formerly homeless teenager who inspired a group of New York City teens to transform their life stories into powerful works of art, using hip hop as a vehicle for self-development and personal discovery.
Kazi challenges these young people to write music about real issues affecting their lives as they strive to overcome daunting obstacles to produce a collaborative album. Russell Simmons, hip hop mogul and long-time supporter of the project, partners with Bruce Willis to donate a recording studio to the Hip Hop Project. After four years of collaboration, the group produces a powerful and thought-provoking CD filled with moving personal narratives and sharp social commentary. In contrast to all of the negative attention focused on hip hop and rap music, this is a story of hope, healing and the realization of dreams.

ERIKA JAYNE’S DEBUT ALBUM PRETTY MESS IS THE NO. 5 DANCE RECORD OF THE YEAR ON THE BILLBOARD DANCE CHARTS
Billboard has released their Year-End/Best Of charts and Erika Jayne’s debut album, Pretty Mess, climbed to the No. 5 spot on the Billboard year-end dance chart. Pretty Mess also features her three No. 1 dance hits Give You Everything, Stars andRollercoaster.
Erika’s sassy style has earned her comparisons to Madonna trapped in the moment when she recorded theErotica album, Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge or Gwen Stefani in a burlesque act. She’s equal partsHollywood glamour and S&M chic and quite possibly the spawn of a Sapphic union between Rita Hayworth and Traci Lords.
Pretty Mess features an all-star production team including Eshtero, Sheila E., the son of Isaac Hayes and producer Peter Rafelson who’s worked with Madonna and Britney.
