Don Rimini’s “Nlarge Your Parties” is the follow-up to the much acclaimed “Time To Panic EP”, “Absolutely Rad EP”, and “Kick n’Run” which gathered amazing feedback and great success among both listeners and the media. More than just a single, “Nlarge Your Parties” is a mini album that includes four brand new tracks.
The influences on “Nlarge Your Parties” range from Chicago ghetto house to tropical dubstep, straight techno house to more melodic, organic and harmonic sounds. Armand Van Helden, Green Velvet, DJ Rush, Underground Resistance, DJ Sneak, Basement Jaxx or Fatboy Slim can be named as references for the French producer. Don Rimini has assembled a rich pallet of sounds, moods and grooves for a stunning result.
3d Innovations is proud to celebrate their 20th anniversary with their brand new DVD featuring footage from: Mike Bell, Rob Gangemi, Mike Graham, Vanik Hacobian, Mike Kepper, Steve Nardone, Matt Pailes, Matt Reason, Kyle Vadeboncoer, Jahmal Williams, as well as Panama Dan, Jerry Fowler, Pete Gardini, Will Harmon, Johnny Marshall, Joey Pepper, Vinnie Ponte, Charlie Wilkins, Matt Willigan, etc.
“Messin’ Around” which was produced in 1998, captured a snap shot of this period and preserved it for future generations. When I teamed up with Matt Landon (3d innovations) to make the video our goal was very simple. We just wanted a video that featured the handful of skaters Matt was sponsoring through 3d and his skate shop – Hanger 18.
Once we got started and the word got out we were making a video it evolved into a massive group effort, involving many more people than we had ever imagined. In the end, after many long nights of editing we had a video that include most of the skaters that helped make the Boston scene happen…
Now, ten years later we’re re-releasing “Messin’ Around” along with a compilation of extra footage, as a tribute to that time and place and all the people who helped make it possible.
