Radio & DJ’s Enjoy The Brand New Single The forthcoming Jamie Foxx Album “BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE” featuring Wiz Khalifa. It’s official! Jamie’s 4th studio album “Best Night of My Life” is set for a December 21st, 2010 release!
Toronto gets an early holiday gift when legendary (in his own mind) on air personality Joey Vendetta makes his long awaited return (his mom missed him) to Toronto radio as guest host of The FAN 590 morning show from December 20 to 24. Vendetta has spent the past 14 years in Los Angeles (much warmer in LA than TO) under the watchful eyes of the Walt Disney Company and Live Nation in various entertainment capacities.
During his exile he’s managed to attend more concerts, sporting events, night clubs and parties than anyone in their right mind would attempt to; he’s also been asked to leave more than his fair share. Since it’s the holiday season, don’t expect anything approaching “60 Minutes” or the “MacNeil/Lehrer” report. Just imagine the late John Belushi getting into a car wreck with David Lee Roth while driving with Chad Ochocinco in John Madden’s bus onto Sesame Street and you get the idea.
Scheduled guests include a Who’s Who of Sports and Entertainment. Jerry Bruckheimer, Steve Perry, Jonathon Toews, Cuba Gooding, Brian Burke, Kiefer Sutherland, Luc Robitaille, Sean Avery, David Boreanaz, Rob Blake, Jason Reitman, Mike Cammalleri, Mike Richards and Toronto Mayor Rob Ford are just some of the many stars you will hear on the FAN 590 Toronto the week of December 20 – 24 from 5:30am to 9am as Joey Vendetta returns to Toronto radio.

Wow ! They did it. The rap duo Us, Jesse an J. Probs, continue to up the ante for the city of Toronto by dropping a solid Mixtape * The Streets According 2 Us *, hosted by DJ Whoo Kid of G Unit. All production on the mixtape was done by arguably the best beat maker in Toronto, MegaMan. A great blend of tempo coupled with heartfelt emotion, was captured throughout the entire CD.
I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Jesse an J. Probs, and I can tell you this, by the hook or the crook these men will get whatever it is that their after. Their maturation as artists has grown over the last 3 years. A testament to countless hours in the studio has obviously paid dividends. You can actually feel the authenticity in their music as evidenced on the tracks titled * Rain * & * This Ones for Y’all *. A vivid reality is certainly their keeper.
The group plan on shooting multiple videos for some of the chosen songs off the Mixtape in the upcoming weeks. As well as release new music in rapid succession from here on out. I’ve been told by a reliable source that a signing to a notable company is presently in the works. As well as, signing on to open several big shows with some of the music industry’s biggest stars. Speaking of which, it’s safe to say these two will be among those in the sky. Good luck to y’all!

Two of hip-hops most accomplished personalities, Nottz & Asher Roth join forces for a dream-team collaboration of the most charitable variety, the Rawth EP, available for free on Monday, December 27th. After meeting while Asher Roth was completing debut album Asleep In The Bread Aisle, the two cemented a hyper-productive working relationship during the recording of Nottz’s You Need This Music. The MCs decided to make an artistic donation to the hip-hop community by releasing a jaw-dropping collection of songs with stellar verses and original bangers from Nottz at no charge.
The Rawth EP features verses from both spitters, both of whom riff off of each other with wild abandon, effortlessly writing the contained material. In many ways, this release embodies the essence of hip-hop by completely disregarding convention, subscribing to the new model of internet distribution. The Rawth EP is fun, free and for the fans.
