On March 6th, Beeda Weeda will release his latest album, Too $hort Presents: Bass Rock Babies via Clear Label Records. Already this month, Beeda released a pre-album mixtape, Bass Rock Babies: The Leak, and now he’s excited to release his new single, “Do It Biggie.” The song, which recently premiered on Bay Area radio powerhouse 106 KMEL and has become of a fast favorite of radio personality Big Von, is a boisterous affair, with horn stabs and 808s laying the foundation for Beeda’s high energy raps.
And despite repping East Oakland, the record was crafted with the utmost appreciation for the East Coast innovator from whom the song draws its name, paying homage to the legacy of Notorious B.I.G. and his Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood. Throughout the song, Beeda incorporates references, scratches, and even lyrics from Biggie. “Thuggin’ like 2pac/ Pimpin’ like Pimp C/ Smoking like Marley/ Bitch I do it Biggie,” raps Beeda on the song’s chorus, while incorporating elsewhere like, “Roll the trees up in my Philly, light it up like, ‘Baby, baby!’”

Brooklyn-based singer and DJ, Silver Medallion teams up with Maryland-based musician, rapper and singer, Dunson (formerly known as Kenton Dunson) in a brand new music video entitled “Trainwreck”. The track is a dark R&B single infused with Dubstep produced by Heatroc & Priceless with additional production from Dave Edwards.
In Silver Medallion’s own words:
“Trainwreck is a saga of New York City bars, a story of people too in love with themselves to see past the whiskey glasses. I feel the sounds of the beat replicate the darkness and intensity of that yearning party night, when you’re looking in a girls eyes and don’t see anything there, when you’re walkin in the cold spinning drunk, when you wake up wondering why you’re life is the way it is.” – Silver Medallion
“Trainwreck” is the follow up to his extremely successful single “All I Ask” released via DJ Benzi’s Get Right Records. The track reached to #1 on the Hype Machine’s Twitter charts, garnered over 70,000 total plays on YouTube and Soundcloud combined, and is currently in rotation on BBC’s Radio 1.

Since the start of 2012 dancehall Icon Bounty Killer has released a few songs to date which exemplifies the direction and wisdom this artist has shown within the last3 years.
While not relinquishing his persona as an hardcore act, he aims to be more resourceful and as such he has started the year on a positive note releasing a song titled ‘Be On The Alert’ featuring Wayne Marshall which is produced by Payday Music on the Real Reggae Riddim.
The song which appears to be cautioning parents and the wider society to be cognisant of persons who they interact with on a day to day basis, as these persons may be ‘Pedophiles/Child Molestors’.

Last year was a big year for me. I got my first placement on a major album with the Game on R.E.D with Boi1da, and I dropped a mixtape entitled ‘Hollalaluuie which created a lot of buzz with over 10,000 downloads.
Late in 2011, I recorded this song in a time where I was at a stand still. I’ve taken some time to develop my craft and I release this song as a statement. I want you to know that I’m using this year to show you what’s next to come.
As I work on my next project, I’ve decided to show how serious I am by releasing a song, video, or remix every week before I drop my next release, ThisTimeTomorrow.
