DARRYL RILEY’S NEW NU EVERYTHING VOL. 1 MIXTAPE HOSTED BY DJ GUTTA
Toronto based R&B artist Darryl Riley released his highly anticipated mixtape entitled “New Nu Everything Vol.1″ hosted by popular mixtape DJ, DJ Gutta to start the New Year off right.
Released as a sponsored mixtape on the popular site Dat Piff and available as a free download, the MMVA Nominated recording artist and songwriter already has the internet buzzing.
Darryl is no stranger to the music scene having worked with such artists as Kardinal Official, Lindo P., Solitair and Estelle to name a few, as well as opening for Joe, 112, Usher and Ne-Yo. Riley is an exceptional artist whose accomplishments continue to grow.
In addition to being musical gifted, Darryl is also a talented writer having lent his writing savvy to international artists Bobby Valentino (“Gangsta Girl”), Masspikes Miles of May Bach Music, Red Cafe’ (I’m a General”), Boxie and Grafh (“Cha-Ching”) among others.
To launch his first project under his own label, New Nu Entertainment, Riley has been busy writing new music and pushing the envelope of his creativity. Too $hort premiered his new video, “Money On the Floor” with Complex Magazine. The track is from his new album, No Trespassing, which drops on Feb. 28. The album will feature a perfect blend of his chilled out, old school sounds with upbeat club anthems. His album will feature cameos from Snoop Dogg. 50 Cent, Twista, Rico Tha Kidd and Dom Kennedy.

New Orleans-based emcees Harn SOLO and Lyriqs da Lyraciss present the Ben Simmons-directed music video for “The Grind”, the title track from their collaboration album, produced largely by NOLA HipHop Award-winning producer Pro Prospek. SOLO has three albums under his belt – The Awakening, SOLO 3.0 and Reaching Higher, and has collaborated with NOLA talent like Dappa, Cracktracks and Nadiyah Skyy. Lyriqs has opened onstage for Raekwon, Mickey Factz, Tyga, Stalley, Mac Miller, and the duo recently opened for the Wu-Tang Clan. The album track “Wild West” features 2011 NOLA HipHop Award Album Of The Year winner Lyrikill, who says “this Solo & Lyriqs album is the heat rock. One of the best together projects I’ve heard in a minute.” Of the project, SOLO says “Knowing I have friends as talented as Lyriqs and Pro Prospek, I had to record #TheGrind album.
