This year sees adidas Originals bring back the Torsion Allegra after a 20 year hiatus. We will have two versions, one being a collaboration with Berlin based sneaker retailer, Solebox, and and adidas Originals in house designed version. For the Solebox version they’ve reworked the Torsion Allegra S in a way that hints at the 90′s running heritage, with a fresh approach. A smooth suede upper features tones of grey and black though out while nylon mesh is used on the toe box and uniquely executed on the 3-stripes. A neoprene bootie construction and tongue moves the shoe forward to modern times and a 3M reflective quarter panel adds some pop. The in house designed version, the Torsion Allegra EQT, which was originally released in 1992, has a light colour way of white and taupe that is used on the synthetic suede upper and mesh toe box. Forest green accents are found on the heel counter, tongue loop tag, Torsion bar and the mesh 3-stripes.
