Sedgwick & Cedar (, a brand that celebrates innovation, creativity and pioneers across multiple genres of music, has just announced a new collectable line of skins with online retailer MusicSkins. The Sedgwick & Cedar-inspired skins, available for multiple, personal technology devices, feature musically themed vintage photography and old school aesthetics.

To commemorate the collaboration and the creative spirit of all innovators, Sedgwick & Cedar created a two-part video series titled “I Come from Hip Hop”.

Act I features Grand Wizzard Theodore, the inventor of the scratch, as he takes viewers on a tour of the Bronx neighborhood where Hip Hop began and visits his “Scratch Academy” to reminisce about how it all began. Act II represents the newest generation of Hip Hop fans discovering this music and its historical humble beginnings. Through modern online technology media such as Youtube and iTunes, Afro Thunda (Cameron Miles Lavi-Jones) discovers the positive roots and historical influences of Hip Hop culture in today’s lifestyle.

Sedgwick & Cedar and MusicSkins plan to add skins for skateboards, helmets, DJ gear and more in 2012.
