Moog 2010 Apparel

ladder_filter_photoMoog is better known for oscillators and potentiometers than they are for cut and sew.   But for Spring 2010, the fine people at Moog will be releasing a modest line of apparel that reflects all the sensibilities that the brand has come to embody.

Responsible for creating a legacy of musical and studio equipment used from artists like the Neptunes, Bob Dylan, Daft Punk, RJD2 and Sonic Youth (to name a few) Moog has long been a sought after brand that core musicians will go to any lengths to own.  Moog knows this.  In response, they wanted to create a small apparel line so that all of their fans and enthusiasts, size notwithstanding, could own a piece of Moog.  While not everyone can own an Etherwave Theremin, everyone can stake claim to a Moog hoodie.

The current Spring 2010 line features a limited selection of tees, hoodies and hats that espouse the craftsmanship and detail inherent in all of Moog’s products.  Moog’s apparel line is available for purchase online at moogmusic.com.

Production Begins on TODD & THE BOOK OF PURE EVIL A New Original Television Series for SPACE

tbope_d1_0-185Aircraft Pictures, Corvid Pictures, and Frantic Films in association with SPACE are pleased to announce production has begun on SPACE’s newest original series. Todd & The Book Of Pure Evil will be shot over ten weeks on location in Winnipeg. The result will be a 13-episode, half-hour supernatural comedy that brings the age-old phrase “high school is hell” to life.

“Getting to make this series is proof that The Book Of Pure Evil is real and actually works!” says co-creatorCraig David Wallace, “We’re super excited that SPACE is supporting our belief that ‘80s flavoured Heavy Metal and Black Magic are back, and more evil than ever.”

Todd & The Book Of Pure Evil is based on the short film of the same title written by Craig David Wallace and Max Reid, and directed by Wallace. The short film was produced through the Canadian Film Centre’s Short Dramatic Film Programme, and kicked off an international festival tour by premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2003. A pilot for Todd & The Book Of Pure Evil was shot for SPACE last winter in Winnipeg.

At the same time, she was in the midst of opening her own store in the Miami Beach area. She opened “TOFF,” (n. a fashionable person in a British slang) in November 2003 through July 2007, which sold women’s contemporary clothing including brands such as: Jill Stuart, Paul & Joe, Karen Walker, Tibi, and other reputable designer labels.The ClaudiaE collection is notorious for colorful, yet sophisticated leggings made up of electric colors and patterns. NextAid and Make-Up Designory With Help from DJ Rap, Colette, Samantha James and Eve Falcon Launch New Promo Campaign For MUD Cares Palette of Eye Colors To Fund Construction & Education for Red Rhino Orphanage Project in Kenya

mud-vertBelieving that everyone deserves a beautiful future, the nation’s leading make-up educational institute, Make-Up Designory (MUD), created the MUD Cares Palette of Eye Colors to benefit NextAid and one of its partners in Africa, the Red Rhino Orphanage Project (RROP). 100% of the sales from the limited-edition four-color eye shadow palette are being generously donated to NextAid to help RROP build a foundation for a better tomorrow. Once the specially commissioned palettes sell out the funds will provide construction of orphans’ homes in a poverty-stricken town 25 miles southeast of Nairobi, Kenya. Each of these eco-friendly structures will provide long-term shelter, food and medical needs for some of the most vulnerable orphans in the area.
