119Due to phenomenal demand and anticipation around the news of the forthcoming second self-titled Crystal Castles album on Fiction Records, the US will be following suit with the advanced UK digital release by making the album available immediately on Monday April 26th.

Following the debut of both the limited edition Record Store Day 12″ release of “Doe Deer” and first single “Celestica” last week by Zane Lowe on Radio 1, a few new tracks have since surfaced online placing the band at #1 on the Hype Machine chart today and straight to the top of Elbo.ws ‘Hot Artists’ and ‘Hot Posts’ as well. Over 460,000 plays of “Celestica” have been tracked on Last.fm to date, so by popular demand the band is making the record available now.

The antisocial duo of Ethan Kath and Alice Glass have created an unexpected level of excitement and cult loyalty, clocking up a staggering 50 million plays on MySpace and Last.fm and headlining sold out tours around the world.

Produced by Ethan Kath, tracks were recorded and written in contrasting environments around the world, including a church in Iceland, a self-built cabin in Ontario, and a garage behind an abandoned convenience store in Detroit.
