This record features Neak [@Neak_Undefined] X Rashid Hadee [@RashidHadee] X F.A.B.L.E. [@ForeverFable] X Sincerely Yours [@sinceninesix]. We all decided to come together to drop something dope; as we are currently in the process of promoting our upcoming projects/albums (my new album is entitled ‘Paura/Amore – due out later 2013).
In the spirit of the recently released Rashid Hadee 3 part mixtape series (currently on part 2) conceived by Honest Management, the company’s founder Greg “Olskool Ice-Gre” Lewis exercises another one of his platinum plus relationships to pull off what’s being dubbed as an exclusive single leak by Rashid Hadee dedicated to their hometown Chicago. The song is called Shine and features the vocal styling of Deonis “Pumah” Cross produced by Grammy Award winning multi-platinum producer S1(Symbolyc One), the man responsible for hits such as Power (Kanye West), Best Thing I Never Had (Beyonce’) and Excellence (Watch The Throne). Shine comes at a time when The Windy City could use a few sun rays to cut through the dark cloud that has been looming since the rampant acts of violence and death have plagued the country’s most beloved city in the Midwest. In the song, Rashid Hadee speaks optimistically about hope, change and dreams coming true for Chicago’s youth (and himself) before it’s too late. The last line of the song says “forget the talk I’ma take action” but Rashid Hadee the Super Producer/Emcee knows his last line definitely has to be a first act in order to bring about brighter days in his city.
Rashid Hadee hits us with part 2 of his 3 part Ep series by Honest Management titled Rashid Hadee Meets Shemaiah Roberts. Who is Shemaiah Roberts you ask? Well, he is a very talented young producer from Raleigh, NC who connected with Rashid Hadee’s manager Olskool Ice-Gre and that connection led to this. Shemaiah’s sound is so interesting and different (which is the theme of the Ep series) that his production was perfect for Rashid Hadee to show yet another layer of himself as an emcee. Rashid Hadee Meets Shemaiah Roberts may be the darkest, most obscure, slightly out there production we’ve heard Rashid Hadee attack. In the same breath, this Ep could stand as the emcees most aggressive, introspective and in the case of the song “Everybody’s Good,” the most vulnerable we’ve ever heard him. The surface of Mars was chosen as the cover art of the Ep for these reasons alone. Rashid Hadee Meets Shemaiah Roberts is another step in Honest Managements goal of displaying the full versatility of the Westside Chicagoan branded Rashid Hadee the Super Producer Emcee.
Honest Management presents the 8th visual single by Rashid Hadee titled Ma’s Best Friend, taken from the album Aural Sex: The Search For Pinky Tuscadero. This visual, directed by Aaron Perkins Jr. of APJ Films, has to be one of the most blatantly metaphors we’ve seen in a long time. This time we find the producer/emcee in a present moment reflective state about a woman he’s dating who regardless of their off again/on again relationship, is his best friend, his ace, his dawg! There are so many parallels and imagery to this song/visual that it leaves you wondering; is Rashid Hadee saying she’s his dawg (like one of the guys) because they remain so tight through it all or is he comparing her attitude to that of a female dog? This visual without a doubt makes for an interesting interview and possibly some of the most hilarious comments on youtube. Love it or hate it ladies and gentlemen, you have to admit, this is real Hip Hop in it’s rawest form. Only Rashid Hadee can truly give us the answer to the hundreds of questions this visual will raise being that he is the one who experienced it on his Search For Pinky Tuscadero. Aural Sex Theatre just got controversial. Note: Honest Management has created a very ambitious visual marketing campaign to introduce Aural Sex: The search for Pinky Tuscadero. The company plans to release a video every Tuesday, in the order of the track list, until you’ve “seen” the entire project!
Honest Management presents the 7th visual single by Rashid Hadee titled Let Me Be, taken from the album Aural Sex: The Search For Pinky Tuscadero. Directed by Aaron Perkins Jr. of APJ Films, Let Me Be is a cinematic narrative that finds Rashid Hadee in the most intense situation thus far. Whether we know it or not, we’ve all been the lover on the side at least once in our lives. In most cases (such as this one), we are aware of the situation but too selfish to do the right thing. In Let Me Be, aware of the situation is exactly what Rashid Hadee is but who would’ve thought being the lover on the side would end like this. Does the outcome of Rashid Hadee’s situation make him a victim or was his fate doomed from the start? There’s only one way to properly assess the situation and it requires you push play to watch the drama unfold. Things are starting to heat up as we get closer to the end of this emcees Search For Pinky Tuscadero. Aural Sex theatre has just reached a climax. ENJOY!
Honest Management presents the 6th visual single by Rashid Hadee taken from Aural Sex: The Search For Pinky Tuscadero titled When The Temperature Rise feat. JV directed by DOMI V. There’s an old saying that goes “In life the only thing guaranteed is death.” Since that’s a fact, running behind in close second is change because in life, change is inevitable. Some of the things we did as a teen, just isn’t as cool or interesting as an adult. As an adult we have responsibilities, in some cases a family, and every now and then we reflect on the good ole days of how things use to be before our new commitments. Real men will admit, life’s ill’s and changes are much easier to adjust to when you have an understanding woman by your side, but as you’ll see in When The Temperature Rise that’s when things get tricky, or do they? There’s only one solution to this quandary, and that is push play, sit back, and watch as Rashid Hadee takes on another reality in his Search For Pinky Tuscadero. Aural Sex theatre begins now! Honest Management has created a very ambitious visual marketing campaign to introduce Aural Sex: The search for Pinky Tuscadero. The company plans to release a video every Tuesday, in the order of the track list, until you’ve “seen” the entire project!
Honest Management presents the fifth visual single from Rashid Hadee titled The All featuring Augustine. This time we find the Chi-town emcee and his compadre on one of the illest dates you’ve seen. Ever wonder what happens when a young tries to “play you,” then turn around and attempt to go out with you? Well, in the humorously twisted mind of Rashid Hadee, you find out exactly what happens. He and Augustine are not the ones to try and run game on, or you might have to tell your incoming calls you’re a little “tied up” at the moment. As serious as Rashid Hadee may try and look in his situation, it’s obvious he’s poking fun at the idea of what one may think of doing when a young lady tries to play them for the fool. In a day and age when most artists are taking themselves way too serious, its refreshing to see an artist inject a little humor into their visuals, even if its dry/shocking humor. The All is just about the mid point of brother Hadee’s Search For Pinky Tuscadero aka Ms. right. Welcome to another episode of Aural Sex theatre.
Honest Management presents the fourth visual single by Rashid Hadee off of his current release Aural Sex: The Search For Pinky Tuscadero titled She Aint Comin Back. In relationships things aren’t always a bed of roses. There’s happy times, and then there are the not so happy times. In a moment of turmoil words reach a boiling point and we tend to say things we don’t really mean. Sometimes that exchange of words can go too far, which is exactly the case in She Aint Coming Back. Has this situation turned the good brother Rashid Hadee into a stalker? Does fellow Chicago emcee Neak reap the benefits of his mistake? There’s only one way to find out, push play and watch the drama unfold. All’s fair when you’re on The Search For Pinky Tuscadero. Aural Sex Theatre continues. Note: Honest Management has created a very ambitious visual marketing campaign to introduce Aural Sex: The search for Pinky Tuscadero. The company plans to release a video every Tuesday, in the order of the track list, until you’ve “seen” the entire project!
Honest Management presents the third visual single by Rashid Hadee off of his current release Aural Sex: The Search For Pinky Tuscadero entitled Something Special. This time around we find the Chicago emcee on the couch sharing his latest encounter with his therapist. Things get a little interesting as pride, lust and greed take center stage on this Chicago emcees quest for the ideal love interest. Has Rashid Hadee found a situation he can live with, or is this just another twist and turn on the social roller coaster of life? Push play and you be the judge. Welcome to another edition of Aural Sex theatre.
Honest Management presents Long Time Coming, the first Rashid Hadee produced release of 2012. The song features a very talented cast of Chicago luminaries; the aforementioned Rashid Hadee, Thaione Davis and The Primeridian (Race & Simeon). Long Time Coming was born out of the camaraderie and collaborative spirit of the four emcees. Each artist on Long Time Coming has worked with the other in some capacity but this record marks the first time all four artists have come together on one song. The title of the song suggest that their individual shine has been a Long Time Coming but quite frankly so has this collaboration.

Honest Management presents the latest video from super producer/emcee Rashid Hadee. This time around, the man behind the boards and the mic, teams up with hometown Chicago veterans The Primeridian, for a groovy ride through the caverns of thought called Night Train. It’s been a minute since two of Chicago’s finest came together to drop a little something for the thinkers. In the first verse, Rashid Hadee takes a stand for the career choice he made and let it be known that everybody doesn’t have to travel the same path to get to their desired destination. While Race and Simeon continue their theme of keeping the word play intelligent, prolific and real. Night Train feels like an Amtrak ride back to a time when Hip Hop made you think just as hard as it makes you move. Once again, the visuals were handled beautifully by Rashid Hadee’s director of choice, Thaione Davis of justanothercanvas. On his route to becoming a musical master chef, Rashid Hadee is sharing some flavorful recipe’s. Just add 3 cups of emcee, a dash of train yard, a hint of Windy City and you get Night Train. “Let the groove take you for a ride…”
Honest Management presents Leakage The PrEp, a prelude project by Rashid Hadee. Leakage The PrEp is a 5 song FREE drown-load to help build anticipation for his upcoming viral release Aural Sex: The Search for Pinky Tuscadero. In the spirit of his Chopped Not Screwed mixtape series, Rashid Hadee reaches back to 1997 and kidnaps Neighborhood Slang, the interlude from Bone-Thugs-n-Harmony’s 4x platinum release; The Art of War. The Chicago producer/emcee reconstructs the interlude into his own piece of Hip Hop art and the result is a head nodder re-titled Neighborhood Thang. The artwork and track list for Leakage The PrEp as well as the mp3 for Neighborhood Thang is available for FREE drown-load on Rashid hadee’s Bandcamp Page: http://rashidhadee.bandcamp.com/. Since “R” is the 18th letter, we’ve decided to shower you with a new song everyday at 1800 hours (CST) until the full track list is available for drown-load. Enjoy Leakage The PrEp.
Honest Management presents the official full length video from Chicago producer/emcee Rashid Hadee for his buzz record entitled The Dreamer. This very cinematically Hip Hop piece was directed by Thaione Davis of JUSTANOTHERCANVAS. The visuals to The Dreamer are best described as an artistic snap shot of movement, expression and passionate delivery by Rashid Hadee the emcee, combined with a myriad of beautifully captured back drops of Chicago’s downtown. The Windy City skyline plays the co-star in this dramatic, yet sincere outcry by the artist who also doubles as the producer of the track. The Dreamer is Rashid Hadee’s testament and he is screaming it at the top of his lungs, in effort to convince all who are in ear shot. Rashid Hadee had this to say about his well received single; The Dreamer: “The blogs showed the trailer to the video love and I really appreciate it and hope they show the official video even more but I want to let everyone know, The Dreamer is not the first single to my upcoming album Aural Sex: The Search for Pinky Tuscadero. It’s just something to hold my supporters down until I hit them with the official official! I’ve been gone for a minute so I feel I owe them a little extra”. Regardless of The Dreamer being an official single or a teaser single/video, it’s something new from the very creative and talented producer/emcee and here for the world to enjoy.
