“PAINTED”
THE WORLD LOOKS QUITE DIFFERENTLY THROUGH A SKATEBOARDER’S EYES. A SET OF STAIRS ARE NOT JUST FOR WALKING UP AND DOWN, LEDGES AND PLANTERS AREN’T JUST ARCHICTURAL CONTAINERS AND DISPLAYS FOR GREENERY, RAILINGS ARE NOT JUST FOR HOLDING ON TO…..
THIS SERIES OF PHOTOGRAPHS TAKES THE IDEA OF HOW SKATEBOARDERS SEE AND USE URBAN STRUCTURES AND “PAINT” THE CITY WITH THEIR SKAEBOARDS. SKATERS MARK UP AND WEAR OUT THESE STRUCTURES AND CONTINUE TO RESHAPE AND ADD COLOUR TO OUR CITIES.
