INTERNATIONAL SUPERSTAR AND HUMANITARIAN WYCLEF JEAN IN LIVE ONLINE PERFORMANCE FOR SONY make.believe ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT, FEBRUARY 10, 2010
Wyclef Jean kicks off “Live Sets,” a series of live online concerts brought to you by Sony’s new global brand message, make.believe (prounounced “make dot believe”). “Live Sets” will feature the live performances of three popular artists streamed in a digital environment, providing an intimate, authentic experience for an on-site and online audience. In addition to the concert, each artist will provide exclusive interview footage and share his or her own make.believe story to inspire fans across the country with the idea that “anything you can imagine, you can make real.” Footage will be available on Facebook.com/sony, Crackle.com, myplay.com and the artists’ websites.
The “Live Sets” performance with Wyclef Jean is scheduled for Wednesday, February 10, from the Canal Room in New York City, and will be streamed live to online audiences at Facebook.com/sony, Wyclef.com, Crackle.com, and myplay.com. In addition, the first 100 lucky fans who respond to Wyclef’s invitation, which will be communicated through his twitter account (http://www.twitter.com/wyclef), Facebook and MySpace pages, and official Web site (www.wyclef.com) starting Friday, February 5, will be able to attend and bring a guest to his intimate performance in NYC.
Fans who have made the guest list will be sent a confirmation e-mail. Wyclef will perform songs from his body of work as a solo artist as well as hits from his former group, the Fugees. Two more Sony make.believe “Live Sets” are anticipated for spring 2010 with artists to be named.

WYCLEF JEAN and TIMBERLAND collab for Yele Haiti
Wyclef and Timberland have collaborated on a footwear collection, that will launch globally and in Canada in December under the popular Timberland Earthkeepers™ line. For every pair sold, $2 will be donated to Wyclef’s Yele Haiti to support reforestation in Haiti. The collection of eco-conscious footwear, made from recycled and organic materials, will be available globally.
